Coronation Weekend

A selection of photos from the weekend. Thank you to all the bellringers who took part in ‘Ring for the King’, it was wonderful to hear the bells rung regularly again.

A particular thank you to all the beginners for all your hard work to be ready for the day.

Thank you to everyone who decorated the Church. The Church always looks wonderful on these occasions but I think this time we have excelled ourselves.

King’s Coronation Weekend

The Church will be open for the weekend of the Coronation, so please come along and view the beautifully decorated Church.

The bells will be rung for the King during the morning of the Coronation and there will be a service of celebration on Sunday 7^th May at 11.15, all very welcome.

On Saturday, 6^th May from 5pm to 8pm, there will be a free BBQ (for those who live in the village) at the Pavilion. Everyone welcome.

The death of Her Majesty the Queen

The Church bells will be rung, fully muffled at 6pm on Friday 9th September in memory of Her Majesty the Queen.

A prayer on the death of Her Majesty the Queen, as we remember her life of service and dedication to this country and the commonwealth. Our thoughts are with her family.
